Who this course is best for:

A golfer who would like to play a easy-to-walk, non-punishing traditional links course while in the North of Scotland.

Overview:

The extensive area of links-land stretching along the Moray Firth towards the Culbin Sands provides ideal ground for Links Golf. Players of all abilities will enjoy this excellent test of golf. The course is fairly flat which makes it playable for golfers of all fitness levels but at 6,765 yards off the medal tees it is also as Peter Alliss would say a tough exam paper.

With Silver Birch, winding waterways, gorse and whin bushes, willows and sallows, dastardly ditches, the Ministers Loch and sand dunes, “It abounds in all the natural hazards so desirable in the game of golf”.

The course is a regular venue for the hosting of national championships, 2009 Scottish Ladies Strokeplay, 2010 The World One-Armed Championships, 2011 Scottish Boys Strokeplay and has become extremely popular with visiting golfers from the USA, Europe and the UK.
