Ireland’s renowned Ballybunion Golf Club is in the process of receiving a few modifications which includes redesigning several bunkers and altering the second and fourth tee boxes.  Ballybunion’s general manager, Vari McGreevy, states “We are very cognizant of our duty to retain the Old Course’s classic routing and unique ambiance” and “The Cashen course is more popular than ever with our international members and guests”.  The Ballybunion Old Course is considered by most accounts to be a World Top 20 course and some consider the Cashen Course to present an even stiffer challenge.
