Who this course is best for:

Play the only course to have hosted The Solheim Cup and The Ryder Cup.

Overview:

The Gleneagles Resort is possibly the finest golf resort in Europe and best in Scotland with an amenities and activities fit for a king. For many years this five-star-plus Scotland resort featured just the King’s Course and the Queen’s Course.  But in 1993 Gleneagles opened the PGA Centenary Course which was designed by Jack Nicklaus and hosted the memorable 2014 Ryder Cup.

Originally called The Monarch Course, the PGA Centenary Course is long and challenging and also hosted The 2019 Solheim Cup.  Although the top length is officially 7,296 yards, the par 72 course has 5 sets of tees to accommodate everybody.  There is a fantastic caddie program on site and carts are available on the PGA Centenary Course to rest the legs.

Golfers who want a truly luxurious golf experience will want to build Gleneagles into their Scotland golf tour.  Include The PGA Centenary Course and walk in the footsteps of Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup stars. This is a good as it gets for a luxury visit to the hills of central Scotland.

Some groups might even want to build in a day at Gleneagles while re-positioning in between the west and east coasts of Scotland.

However you plan your Scotland golf package, a day (or three) at Gleneagles will be a bucket-list highlight!
