Overview:

Despite only being 45 minutes from Barcelona, PGA Catalunya feels secluded from the outside world. Located at the foothills of the Pyrenees, this area escapes some of the high heat that characterizes the rest of Spain during the summer months. PGA Catalunya, with its two courses, is considered the No 1 golf resort in Spain. The Stadium Course is the result of many years of planning and design by the European Tour. A past host site of the Open de Espana, it has been ranked in Europe’s top-1oo since opening in 1998. The second course, The Tour course, is equally worth playing.

Be warned, however, the beauty of the PGA Catalunya Stadium Course can distract from the many dangers waiting to do serious damage to your scorecard. It makes no concessions with its trees pressing onto fairways, strategically placed bunkers and lakes that come into play on no fewer than seven of the toughest holes.

Testimonials

“During the week, we  were able to experience all types of the Scotland weather.  We played in high winds, rain, snow and sleet on the first two days and had sunshine on the final two days.  It was fun to play in all the different weather conditions.”
