Ranked #80 in the world by Golf Digest, this private course is located just 20 minutes from Adelaide’s city center. Having gone through several redesigns since opening in 1905, only 8 holes resemble the original layout. Alister MacKenzie added his now famous bunkers when he got his hands on the course in 1926. Although the ocean doesn’t border Royal Adelaide, it certainly resembles a links course more than an inland one.
“Our trip is now complete, and we are trying to recover physically and mentally. The venture to Scotland and Ireland was beyond our expectations. We absolutely loved the town of St. Andrews, and all the people we met there. We were fortunate on the weather as well.”
